Here's the step-by-step process to connect your Houfy account to Jervis Systems for property management:
- Log into your Houfy and Jervis Systems accounts (If you don't have a Jervis Systems account, create one here).
- From your Jervis Systems dashboard, navigate to the "Marketplace" and select the option to connect to Houfy.
- You'll be asked to fill in your Houfy API Access Token, which you can find by heading to your Houfy "Settings & Privacy" and clicking "Show" next to the API Access Token field.
- Once your Houfy and Jervis Systems accounts are connected, navigate to your "Properties" page within Jervis Systems and click "Refresh Properties" to see your imported rentals.
- Next, connect your smart locks and devices. Click on "Devices" and select "Import Devices". From there, select your device provider and follow the prompts to connect to your smart locks account.
- Once your devices are imported, it's time to assign them to your Houfy properties. In the "Devices" page, select your device of choice from the drop-down list and check the boxes for the properties to which you want it to be assigned.
- Finally, set up Houfy email templates to automatically send out access details to guests before check-in. In your Houfy account, head to "Messages" and click the "Scheduled Messages" subtab to create a template.
- From there, edit the template to include the variable door_lock_code and select the listing to which the code will apply. Set the conditions for sending the email based on your preferences, and save your template. You're all set up!
