What Should I Do When the Trash Is Full?

There are two bear proof trash cans at the end of your driveway. Feel free to use these during your stay if the kitchen trash compactor gets full. Otherwise, housekeeping will take care of emptying the trash compactor after you leave.

Never leave trash on the deck of the cabin unless I have arranged to have Carl pick it up outside. Feel free to text me to have this arranged. Carl is more than happy to take off the trash for you.

Bears can smell outdoor spills, food, etc. around the home and in your vehicle. Be sure to wipe up any outdoor spills, food, crumbs, and keep the grill tidy. Do not leave empty soda cans and food wrappers in your car, as it may entice a bear to break in it.

Neighborhood Dogs

Some of the neighbors have outside dogs, and their favorite past time is chasing cars. Please know the dogs are harmless. They can be quite timid sometimes.

It is best not to be friendly with any neighbor dogs/animals who may visit the cabin. You will only encourage the animal to continue to come around and a guest is bound to feed it food. Please do not feed or allow any cats, dogs, or other animls inside the cabin.

In the unlikely event you do happen to see a Golden Doodle, then please contact Bridget as that is one of Carl's dogs.
