About me
Welcome to the Cottage! We are Luke and Deanna Steiner and we are happy to share our special place with you. Our goal is to provide a comfortable and relaxing stay so that you can focus on creating your own memories just as our family has since 1946. Luke is a business consultant and Deanna is a first grade teacher. We have two amazing sons, Harrison and Sebastian and two dogs, Frisbee and Kelpie. We love spending time together at the cottage especially agate hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing. Please reach out to us with any questions that you might have about the property. We are happy to help!

Why Deanna & Luke Steiner chose Pine City
This heirloom property has been family owned for over 74 years and is the perfect place to make memories of your own. The oldest part of the building was built in the 1800's and was at one time used as a farm outbuilding (for grain storage and chickens!). It has also seen use as a one room school house and even a place to build a boat during the winter! Purchased by Deanna's family just after WWII, it has gone through multiple additions and modernizations throughout its history. Today, it stands as a cozy and charming cottage on Lake Pokegama, ready for you to relax and spend time with family.
