Enjoy our quiet and sunny corner escape right on the water, at which we have made numerous cherished memories staying throughout the many years. I know our Hideaway will help our guests create wonderful memories for years to come.This condo is not a loud, party destination. The condo association requires quiet, peaceful and respectful occupancy.
Entering the condo: There are no stairs required to enter--take the ramp!
The condo opens into the Bedroom which is furnished with 2 full dressers and a coat rack.
Moving from the bedroom to the living room & kitchen area, you pass the
vacation-themed bathroom on the right.
The living room and kitchen are part of one open space, where guests can enjoy an extra adjacent window for extra sunlight, due to its corner unit exposure. Guests can enjoy the brand new kitchen island, appliances and private deck that is located right outside the sliding door. We hope you enjoy your time next to the water on the new deck furniture.
Cable TV and high speed WIFI is available to enjoy within the quiet condo.
The water is just a few feet from the private deck.

Free parking in condominium parking lot, on a first-come, first-served basis. One vehicle per reservation. Does not include parking for a boat/trailer. Inquire about specific boat/trailer parking. Boat/Trailer parking is aplenty at the nearby State Park for just a few dollars per day, and they also have at least one boat ramp that is easy to use. It is just a couple minutes from the condo.

Access to the condo via smartlock code. When possible, we try to accommodate certain requests.

Maximum occupancy: 4
Our unit is cute 1 bedroom condo, so it can only accommodate a maximum of 4 guests per reservation. If you have children and that causes your group number to exceed 4 people, we accept special requests on a case by case basis. If we discover our max occupancy policy is violated without our consent, we reserve the right to deduct up to the maximum amount of the security deposit.
Generally, a maximum occupancy is only violated by guests when their intent is to host a party or bash at accommodations that are not large enough to host the number of people attending. As a result, the units suffer high risk of damage and wear and tear. We do not allow parties or bashes at our condo, therefore we have a general limit of 4 people per reservation.

**EXCEPTIONALLY IMPORTANT** (Avoid all potential Association Fines)
-Quiet hours are from 12am-9am. We get fined for failure to abide by quiet hours.
-Do not hang anything on the deck banisters. Fines for this offense from the Association begin at $200 and *double* per offense.
- Please: No messy food or drink in the bedroom, on the mattress, or on the couch (please help us keep the mattress and couch nice for future guests!); we would not enjoy deducting for replacement costs. Please keep messy foods confined to the counter/bar area and at the outside table on the deck.
-Thermostat must be kept on 64 degrees during the winter when leaving the condo empty during the day. During the summer, please keep the thermostat on 76 when leaving the condo empty during the day. When actively using the condo, please set the thermostat at a temperature at which you feel most comfortable.
-No smoking.
-No pets.
-No candles, gas or charcoal grills; both are prohibited at the condominium.
-When using the grill, place up against the banister facing the water, away from the wall.
-No glass containers of any kind at the pool.
-No loud boom boxes or speakers at the pool.
-Close and lock all doors before leaving Lakeside Hideaway.
-Because we do not allow wild parties at our condo, and due to its two-room layout, we allow no more than four guests per reservation at our condo. Guests who willingly violate our rules and are more than four in number agree to pay an additional $50 per additional person over four persons, per night, of their reservation. Again: No smoking, No pets, No parties or events.
Check-in is anytime after 4:00 PM.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The security deposit is held until an inspection following check-out occurs. Assuming no apparent, blatant damage to the property or stolen items, the entire security deposit will be returned immediately following inspection.
We require a security deposit on Houfy because there is no insurance protection for hosts like there is on Airbnb. But this offers a great opportunity for potential guests and trusted guests we've hosted before, because as long as they care of the property, they'll avoid costly Airbnb fees and receive their security deposit back in full.

Cancellation Policy
If a reservation is cancelled with at least 7 days notice, we will refund the full booking amount.
