This information is stated on our listing and re-iterated here. Detailed check-in information will be provided directly to confirmed guests a week or less prior to check-in.

General Information

The treehouse and cabin retreat is located in a somewhat remote area, so we recommend guests bring at least some of their provisions (food, drinks, water, shampoo, etc.) with them. See our collections on Local Restaurants and Local Farms for suggestions for groceries, locally grown food, and places to eat out.

We also recommend you do your research and planning before you arrive, printing out information you may want to have on hand, since internet access is not available at the retreat, and can be limited in the area. Calling the places you wish to visit in advance is probably the best way to confirm availability.

What We Provide

  • Linens, bath towels, paper towels, toilet paper, hand and dish soap.
  • Coffee filters, salt/pepper
  • Full kitchen with dishes, silverware, pots, pans, utensils, oven, fridge/freezer, etc.
  • Movies (VHS and DVD), indoor and outdoor games
  • Outdoor grill

What Guests Should Bring

  • Flashlights, especially if arriving after dark
  • Your printed check-in information
  • Firewood for the fire pit and smaller wood for the smoker, if you wish to use that
  • Charcoal (and foil, if desired), for the grill
  • Toiletries
  • Food and water (our water is safe to drink but due to the nature of the area, may have a light iron taste or smell and slight discoloration)
  • Bug spray
  • Extra blankets if visiting during a unusual cold spell (we do provide extra blankets, but because the treehouse is not insulated, it can get rather cold even with the heaters running).
