Board & Basket, a deliciously delightful dining option on Hilton Head Island!
The other day I was sitting at my laptop thinking of ways to offer more upscale but fun dining options for my guests. And then the idea was just "there," sitting in front of me, like Facebook read my mind or something. ;)
That idea was Board & Basket HHI. I jumped on their Facebook page and their website and was immediately intrigued by their story and their business. How do I best explain them? I'll let their pictures do the talking.
Board & Basket HHI brings upscale dining to YOU. Choose from their picnic style offerings like low country boil, charcuterie boards and basket lunches.
Their story was as interesting and intriguing as their menu options were eye catching.
Board and Basket is a dream collaboration between two island transplants.
Chef Taylor Swank hails from Philadelphia. Before moving to the island in 2018 with her husband, Taylor graduated from CIA, Culinary Institute of America, and most notably worked for Stephen Starr and Aimee Olexy at Talula’s Garden, a renowned restaurant in Philly’s picturesque Washington Square Park neighborhood. She looks forward to bringing her culinary excellence to a laid back island setting.
Roshael Arns moved from Central Iowa to Hilton Head with her husband and son in 2019. Coming from an interior design and catering background, she is ready to bring her artistic eye and creativity to the island of Hilton Head. She most looks forward to introducing the island to the quality meats and cheeses that the Midwest is known for.
