More information by the provider: The charming apartment is beautifully located just north of the village of Amden in the Swiss mountains. The newly equipped, 2 room apartment with one bedroom offers a beautiful view and stunning panorama of the Alps. The location, near the center, is a real asset. The chairlift, indoor pool (with sauna and jacuzzi), restaurants, café (with bakery) and supermarkets are all within a short walking distance. The nearest bus station (Amden village) is almost next to the house. Is a trip to the Walensee or the family ski area planned? - You can reach both areas within a few minutes by car or bus. The chair lift for the Mattstock Amden ski area or the spacious hiking area can even be reached by foot. Free parking is available. Amden is in eastern Switzerland on the northern side of the Walensee. The village offers magnificent mountain scenery but is less than an hour away from the centers of Zurich, St. Gallen, Rapperswil, or Chur. The diverse regions of Glarnerland, Heidiland, Graubünden, or Zurich with Lake Zurich are very quickly and easily reached by bus and train or car. In the winter, the family ski resort of Amden attracts many visitors with its particularly family-friendly ski school or with other ski areas in the area, such as Flumserberg or Pizol, Elm, or Braunwald. In the spring, summer and autumn, the lake and the mountains offer a wonderful combination and provide a variety of walks and excursions. A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.
The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.
What happens to my breakage deposit?
The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.
