Hi, we are Tom & Juvi the builder/owners of Bärkada Cabin in Blue Ridge, GA. We had a vision to provide guests with a vacation home that WE would want to rent. A place where friends and families could meet and reconnect while unplugging from their busy life. The name, Bärkada has special meaning to us as the word is of Filipino origin meaning A meeting of friends The first part of the name, Bär is German for Bear as such, Bärkada Cabin represents both or our heritages. With 3 decades of design/build experience we set out to create a cabin combining the best attributes of other mountain cabins in a format where you would enjoy the same amenities and comfort of your own home with EXTRAS to make your stay more comfortable and memorable. This view demanded something special be built at this location. Some of our favorite features are the dual master bedrooms with en-suites, meaning no one must toss a coin over who gets the best bedroom. Then there is an eating porch with a full mountain view located right off the full-sized kitchen with top-end appliances. The great room with 22-foot ceilings and floor to ceiling glass with a view you cant take your eyes off of. There is a huge outdoor living covered porch with fireplace and hot tub, again with a full mountain view. With two king beds and two queen beds, (all high-end memory foam) and two twin beds, it comfortably sleeps 10 people. The main floor features master bedroom number one, complete with soaking tub, separate shower and dual vanities and 65” TV. The main floor has 32-inch door openings, or greater, for wheelchair access including bedroom, kitchen, living room and porches. (There are 3 steps into the house). The lower level has a large game room that includes a 75-inch screen with surround sound. There you will find the second master bedroom, with a 65” TV, which includes a large sitting area where you can look out into the private wooded backyard while enjoying an enjoyable book. The upper level includes two large bedrooms, one with a king bed and the other a queen and twin bunk beds sharing a full bath. The cabin features many smart home features, and each level features its own heating and cooling zones so everyone will be comfortable winter or summer. All roadways are paved up until the last mile (which are easy to navigate, maintained gravel roads). Downtown Blue Ridge is less than 10 minutes away and Ellijay is 20 minutes. ** 3 outdoor security cameras, no living areas are monitored. 4 Echo devices in living room, master bedrooms, and game room **
