Welcome to our beautiful, spacious, conveniently located, luxurious, affordable and very family-friendly BestSunPeaks townhouse in the popular Trappers Landing development, just minutes away from the village at Sun Peaks Resort, Canadas 2nd largest and four-season ski resort.
We have fantastic ski-in/out access and are just seconds away from both the Morrisey Express chairlift and the new Orient chairlift.
This beautifully upgraded four+ bedroom townhouse is perfect for families who wish to enjoy the many year-round activities available at Sun Peaks, or even for 2 families who wish to spend time together but also enjoy having their own space thanks to our bonus kitchen and living/entertainment area on the lower floor. p.s. - its also a great area just to send the kids to hang out and play!!
Just pull up and easily unload all your sports gear into our garage and park in the second in-front parking area, and chances are that once you are parked, you wont need your car for the rest of your Sun Peaks holiday. We are easy ski-in/ski-out and also just a leisurely 5-7 minute walk along the lit village trail into the village.
Feel relaxed and at home the instant you step through the front door - heated tile floors welcome you, and the spacious, fully upgraded kitchen, dining room and living room with spectacular views through the many windows and vaulted ceilings await.
The main floor includes plenty of storage, a 2 piece powder room with granite countertops and heated floors, a large, fully-stocked kitchen with over-sized granite countertops, see-through space to the dining area, beautiful cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and a gas stove. There is a large dining room with plenty of seats for at least 8 people at the table and 4 more at the counter, a comfortable living room with hardwood floors, a welcoming river rock gas fireplace, flatscreen tv with a PS3 gaming system and Netflix, and plenty of beautiful views. And if you want more space or just to admire the views, step out the sliding glass doors onto the large deck with a propane BBQ.
The upper level includes 3 very comfortably-sized bedrooms and a 4 piece bathroom with granite counter tops and heated tile floors. Each room features a wardrobe unit to assist in organizing your clothes for the duration of your stay, as well as a widescreen tv.
The master bedroom has a birch theme with a queen size bed, beautiful hardwood floors, drawer unit, widescreen tv, patio door to a peek-a-boo deck, plenty of windows, and a luxurious, upgraded 3 piece ensuite bathroom with a new tile and glass shower, heated tile floors, lovely etched glass dividing window and plenty of space to help pamper yourself and relax after a great day on the mountains. Or wake up and open the blinds to admire the beautiful mountain view from the many windows like we do!
The 2nd bedroom has a queen-size bed, fold-out desk/table and a wardrobe, and the third bedroom has a wardrobe, fold-out desk/table, and a large, log-themed bunkbed with a queen size bed on the bottom and a twin up top. We have also added a widescreen tv with a 3rd PS3 gaming system with Netflix.
There is also a small drying area between the townhouse and the garage complete with a washer and dryer.
The Bonus room in the basement is what makes this such a flexible and wonderful Sun Peaks rental property for your vacation. It includes a storage area, 4 piece bathroom with granite countertops and heated tile floor, a bedroom with a queen-size bed, a river rock gas fireplace with tv and a second PS3 gaming and video system in the entertainment area, which is also complete with a double-size pull out sofa bed and a second kitchen including a fridge, stove, and microwave, along with all the basics in terms of dishes, cooking utensils, pots, pans and more.
Step through the ground level door to the large, covered hottub and deck area with a 4 seat bistro table, chairs, and the wonderful mountain views and the smell of the beautiful, fresh mountain air.
The owners of this Sun Peaks townhouse also own VRBO 479151 which is a beautiful 2 bedroom plus private loft condo in Stones Throw at Sun Peaks, and have proven with their 36 and counting five star reviews that they do their best to ensure their guests have a wonderful Sun Peaks vacation.
Sun Peaks Resort is second in size only to Whistler/Blackcomb in Canada, and is considered a four season resort that is much more compact, family friendly, affordable, and consistently offers light, dry champagne powder and shorter line-ups. It is about a 45 minute ride and easily accessible from nearby Kamloops airport, or about a 4.5 hour ride from Vancouver International Airport or from Whistler. It is very family friendly and is the closest interior ski resort to the lower mainland of British Columbia.
