Blackwood Mountain Home features long range mountain views in multiple directions, so that you can relax after a day of exploring the greater Asheville area! Easy check-in via smart-lock and easy check out. The first floor of the home has an open, modern and airy living area, dining room, and well stocked kitchen, as well as a King primary bedroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite bath, great for those who may prefer not to go down stairs to get to the bedroom. The kitchen has the essentials you need to cook while staying, including a stocked coffee and tea bar as well as dog bowls and a raised feeder so that you can leave those items home. The living room has a wet bar, board games, books, and a 65 HD TV for your entertainment. There is a telescope for those aspiring astronomers, and with very little light pollution the stars are AMAZING. The lower level features 3 bedrooms (1 King with en-suite bathroom and TV), and 1 full bathroom, as well as a laundry area for use. For remote workers, there is a dedicated workspace desk in one of the bedrooms with a 22 monitor ready for connection (HDMI/VGA). The outside features a fire pit with mountain views and an electric pellet bbq grill, as well as 2 decks with mountain views! Ample parking in the 4 car driveway as well as an open front yard area for pet relief.

As required by the State of North Carolina Chapter 42A, a rental agreement will be provided. Payment of the booking constitutes acceptance of the agreement.

Convenient Canton! Canton has a quaint downtown with shops, restaurants, as well as all of the amenities you may need to pick up for your stay! On Thursdays there is a great farmers market to check out at Sorrells park. You can get to downtown Asheville in under 20 minutes, a quick trip to New Belgium brewing, Grove Arcade, River Arts district and more! 20 Minutes to Asheville (AVL) airport as well as the Biltmore Estate. Uber and Lyft are available to take you around as well if you prefer.

Parking - please be sure to keep vehicles in the gravel driveway and do not block the paved road/other home access.

Dogs - The home has a large crate in the closet of the bedroom on the first floor, as well as a raised feeder with bowls for food/water. Waste bags can be found on the bar in the living room.
