The house offers self catering accommodation set in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Accessed down an unmade lane, it is a well equipped home from home. Within walking distance of the village grocery shop and local pub. A short distance to the beaches of Shanklin and Ventnor.
There are five bedrooms, bedrooms 1 & 2 are two super king, bedroom 3 is one king and bedroom 4 is a double and is access to bedroom 5 a twin bedroom. Please note that bedroom 4 & 5 are a family suite that share a shower room & toilet.
In summer alfresco dining on the terrace is popular. In winter the cosy dining room is preferred. The dining room can seat 8 -10 guests. Please note there is no window but we do have colourful artwork and funky lighting to make it cheerful.
Please check if you wish to include infants.
Three car parking slots are available for house guests.
Comfy, cosy and child friendly. Plenty to do with beaches, biking, bucket & spade, exploring, eating, fishing, boating, riding and walking are all close by. The island is full of history so Carisbrooke Castle, Osbourne House, Appuldurcombe House are all worth a visit.

Your own transport is recommended due to the semi rural village location.
Bus (Number 3) to Newport every 30 minutes and to Ventnor every 30 minutes. The house is 5 minute walk to the bus stop.

Due to our property insurance liability and fire regulations, we do not permit un-booked people /visitors at any time, this is not negotiable. We have two separate one bedroom apartments onsite, please enquire if you would like to book those.

Please do check first about bringing babies/toddlers (under 2yrs). We have travel cots, changing mats, potties and highchairs.
Please check if bringing pets a maximum of two well trained/well behaved dogs allowed, please talk to us if more than 2 dogs and we accept no other animals. Throws are provided so please do cover furniture. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the house, it's a strange environment, so please ensure that someone is with them . The island is dog friendly and I can recommend a dog sitter if required. Needs to be booked in advance as gets very busy in the summer months.
Please note that additional people/unbooked visitors are not permitted onsite. We have CCTV cameras to monitor the entrance and drive only and we are on site regularly. We check as per our property insurance/fire regulation requirements.

Refundable Damage Deposit
Damage/security deposit will normally be refunded within 7 days of departure. Normal refund is within 48hours.
Cancellation Policy
We highly recommend that you purchase your own travel insurance to cover yourselves in case of unexpected situations that may arise.
If cancellation is within 30 days of arrival, we do not consider refunds.
If you cancel before 30 days of arrival and if we are able to resell the property for the dates cancelled, then we will consider a partial refund.

It is ideal for families, groups of friends who want to get together and have fun.
Check in is from 4pm and check out is 10am sharp. During busy periods there is little flex on these times, as our changeover team are scheduled in advance and look after other properties.
We do appreciate it if guests strip their beds of used bed linen. We provide labelled laundry sacks for used bed linen & towels this is to minimise & reduce the risk of cross contamination to protect our valued changeover team.
