You know that feeling of a cozy cocoon you get when you arrive to a familiar place you love and where the best memories have been created, this is what you feel when you arrive at the Aframe Of Mind cabin. The space, the warmth, the elevation up above it all and the quiet are so relaxing. Surrounded by greenery, this uniquely designed cabin offers an escape from the big city while still being just a short drive from shops, eateries of Gatlinburg, and within only 2 miles of entry to a majestic Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

High beamed vaulted ceilings of a classic Aframe and natural wood features create a warm and inviting space to spend quality time with your sweetheart or a group of friends and family. Snuggle up on the sofa in the living room to watch a bit of TV or head to a hot tub or the front or back deck for a truly immersive experience in the nature, as you relax and dream up your next adventure.

A quaint and newly renovated kitchen tucked away by the entrance and illuminated by a skylight, where many home-cooked meals can be enjoyed with the full kitchen that offers everything from a dishwasher and microwave to pots, pans, utensils, mixing bowls, baking trays, coffeemaker and toaster. Some basic pantry items provided but do bring your special spices for that perfect homemade meal. A charcoal grill is available outside for more refined cooks that like to throw a shrimp on a barbie or prepare that perfect medium rare T-Bone. A large dining table that seats 6 inside and is outfitted with some midcentury classics will elevate your mood and help you create memories that lasts for a lifetime. Another dining table for 6, awaits on the patio to comfortably accommodate your group surrounded by the lush greenery of the forest.

This cabin has 3 full bedrooms with a queen size beds, and a living room with a queen size convertible sofa bed, and a pool table along with a vintage game arcade for your family and friends enjoyment. The cabin could accommodate up to 8 adults and 6 is the best most comfortable setup all around. The bathroom upstairs has a walk-in shower and a toilet with sink. The bathroom downstairs has a sit in jacuzzi tub with shower, a sink and a toilet. Both bathrooms have a supply of toilet paper, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and a body wash. Feel free to top up the bottles with extra supply in the cabinets below sink. The living room and loft are equipped with the ceiling fans, and both other bedrooms have floor fans available for those extra muggy or cold nights to bring you comfort.

Enjoy the fireplace in the living room on those cold winter nights. Follow all the precautions and be aware that fire season begins on April 1st and ends on October 31st. Help us keep our homes and nature surround safe.

Before climbing into bed each night, come out to the patio look up at the clear dark sky and breathe in that fresh mountain air for improved, deep relaxation and better sleep into the night. Breeeeatheeeee...

Please reach out if you have any questions. If you think you may have questions later in the day, reach out preemptively, as we are a couple of time zones away, so we can help quickly. Generally, use common sense, be respectful to the space, and to the nature that surrounds.

Our neighborhood is just above city of Gatlinburg on the north side of the mountain. The community of Chalet Village offers access to 3 clubhouses, swimming pools, and tennis courts. Planning your family reunion, church retreat, wedding reception, anniversary party, corporate retreat or other getaway and you need meeting space or room to gather? Chalet Village offers banquet facilities that can accommodate both small and large groups!

The clubhouses are open during the season between the Memorial Day (May 31st) and Labor Day (September 6th). With South Club pool and tennis courts open most of the year, weather permitting. You will have access key at the cabin. Located in the first upper drawer to your left, as you enter the kitchen.

The neighborhood is very well maintained and the roads are frequently plowed in the event of a snowfall.

If you choose to stay on the mountain throughout your visit, we cant blame you, its beautiful here with all the views and wildlife. We recommend you to venture out for a walk up the mountain, where a sneaky path will lead you to a mountain trail that goes for miles, or a short walk very nearby that leads to a small Hobbit settlement - such eye candy for kids and adults alike. It is nice, quiet, and restful here. Youd love it!

We are only 2 mil from Ober Ski Resort, 2,5 mil from Great Smoky Mountains National Park, downtown Gatlinburg, and the Parkway that takes you to Pigeon Forge for fun rides and adventures, or Cherokee, NC for a famous scenic ride of a lifetime. You are also only 11 miles away from a Mount Le Conte, so if you feel like a bigger challenge, its just around the corner and btw, you can get inspired by the views of it before you go straight from the sunroom.

The dining and shopping options are plentiful at the city of Gatlinburg and there is even some options for groceries and food in the neighborhood.

You will need a car to travel around here. In winter month we would recommend an all-wheel or a 4x4 vehicle, as that would simplify your transportation in the event of a snowfall. Make sure your breaks are fully functional and tires are not completely bold, before venturing up the mountain, as that would add an unnecessary risk to your adventure. Also, make sure your windshield wipers and lights are in fully working condition.

The road up the mountain is fully asphalted and is well maintained and partially illuminated. You will be zig zagging your way up, and as long as you do it in a slow and respectful to other motorists and weather conditions fashion, you should have no issues getting around whatsoever.

Please be respectful to the space. Do not try to gain access to storage areas that are not easily opened. Do not move, switch, relocate furniture, pool table, sheets or towels. Moving furniture back to its location is a heavy work and will require us to bring additional staff to do so. In the event we find folded carpets, or anything drastically out of place, we will charge a $100 reset fee. In the event we see scratches on the floor from excessive moving, we will charge for restoration costs. Please be cognizant of your actions, as they impact others and could be costly. Return everything to its initial spot at the end of your stay.

Beware of the animals you may come across. Enjoy their presence, use common sense to interact with them, keep your distance, and do not feed them, as that will give them a reason to come back for more. Especially bears, their curiosity and persistence is unparalleled and presence could be overwhelming.)
