60 km east of Savonlinna, L.Tyrjänjärvi 35 m (length 7 km, width 2 km), rather shallow, hard moraine/stone bottom, own boat. Wooden cottage 2001, kitchen, living room with convertible sofa + single bed, bedroom with 2 beds, washroom, open porch. Air source heat pump for cooling and heating.
WC = ekoWC.
Lakeshore sauna (20 m²) with dressing room. Sauna has elec. light, elec. heating, cold water pipe and hot water cauldron. Cottage located on sloping plot.Satellite-antenna (for example Russian tv-channels). Drinking water from the owner. Shore faces south. License for lurefishing must be bought separately.
Lake Tyrjänjärvi lies between Finland and Russia. In the middle of the lake is the border of Finland and Russia. From the beach you can move normally about 100 meters to the east or south without border crossing and to the southwest about 1000 m, but thereafter a border permit is needed. If you want to move to north to the north of Viitaniemi, you need a border permit. The border zone is approximately 100 m wide. You also need a border permit if you go skiing on a ski track in the area. In the cottage there is a map with more detail about the areas where you can go. The lake is marked with yellow buoys. If you do not go to the border zone, you can spend holiday in this cottage just like in any other cottages.
Border zone permit is not a fishing license. If you want to fish on the lake, you need a fishing permit in addition to the border zone permit. Border zone permits can be purchased at Kolmikanta border guard station or from website Cottage is located about 11 km from the station. When obtaining the permit an identity card or a foreign passport must be accompanied.

A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.
The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.
What happens to my breakage deposit?
The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.

C) 28 to 2 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental
D) 1 day before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental
