Events: If you wish to host an event, you must get prior approval from the Host. Smoking: Smoking is permitted outdoor. No indoor smoking. To keep things running smoothly we count on your cooperation with no visitors/events/parties/meetings/pets without prior approval, only flush toilet paper, not smoking inside, smoking is permitted outside, only eating in the kitchen/dining area, disposing of open food/drinks before leaving, wash the dishes you use, and putting your dirty linens in the washer before you leave. These things, along with the others below, allow us to not increase our rates and afford a better transition from guest to guest. By booking with us, you agreed that we reserve the right to charge fees/repair costs associated with any of our rules not being followed. 1. We want to keep our property quaint, as much as possible. We do not allow anyone on the property other than the number of individuals booked. Any visitors that are not included in the number of guests booked to spend the night will need to be approved by us well in advance prior to their arrival. There is no guarantee that we will give approval and if we do there is a $10 per-person per-day fee for those guests not spending the night, but on the property. We also do not allow events, parties, or meetings without approval PRIOR to booking. We need to put extra time into getting the lakehouse ready and cleanup takes longer, after large events are over. You agree to approve any additional guest fees after your stay is complete. If needed, please make sure to adjust your guest count accordingly. Due to people trying to sneak guest in and have parties without approval we unfortunately had to implement a $500 flat fee plus $25 per person, over the booked number, fee for breaking this rule. 2. We do not allow pets, without approval PRIOR to booking. If you brought a pet with you and did not get prior approval from us, please let us know immediately. A $500 flat fee plus $25 per pet fee plus the cost of any damages will be assessed if you are found to be breaking this rule. 3. Smoking is permitted outside, no smoking inside. 4. We ask that you refrain from eating in the bedrooms and on the couches. Food crumbs make a mess, are hard to clean up, and attract pests. 5. Please make sure that all doors and windows are shut when you have the heat or air conditioning on. As well, open doors or windows open without a screen, especially at night can attract bugs that are not easy to get out and can breed and multiply! No petsCheck-in is anytime after 3:00 PM
