This rustic sanctuary beckons travelers seeking a slice of authentic Austin charm. Secluded on 2 acres just 15 minutes to downtown, this gem boasts original architecture and energetic decor. Enjoy the outdoors on a large deck with valley view.
It has only one bathroom but it may be the best room in the house with a gigantic shower in original tile. This Austin Relic wont be around forever so seize this opportunity while you still can! It is fun, it is cool, this place is a vibe.
The feng shui of this house is on point with high, domed ceilings and perfect plants in perfect places. There are several gnomes and mushrooms around to add some whimsy magic. The lighting in the house has been given special attention, no blue light, for a warm ambiance.
A beautiful Live Oak wrapped in 40 strands of lights is an event at night. Absolutely gorgeous year round.

This house has character that simply cannot be found in modern architecture. It is not without its imperfections and is still a wonderful experience in and of itself.

The driveway is a semi-circle so if you have a boat or RV you will have no trouble with parking here!

No confetti. Pets are allowed but please contact me and let me know about it first. No events unless approved. Please see house manual. If a pet or child stands on top of the hot tub cover and damages it there will be a replacement charged to you for the cost which is around $500. No smokingNo parties or eventsCheck-in is anytime after 3:00 PM

Cancellation Policy

Guests get a full refund if they cancel up to 30 days before check in, except in certain cases. Full refund refers to nightly rate only. Up to 7 days before check in date you will be charged 50% of total nightly rate. If you cancel inside of 7 days before check in no refund will be given.

Notes

Near Pennybacker Bridge, Austin Country Club, Lake Austin. A few restaurants to mention in Westlake are Sway Thai, Jack Allen's, Flower Child, and The Well, but personally, I would head downtown for more fun.
