Welcome to the Carolina Pearl in Surfside Beach, SC, an Oceanfront Oasis. The Carolina Pearl is a 4 BR 4BA home which offers a private pool with private beach access and can accommodate up to 12 guests.

If you are part of a larger group, our neighboring property, The Lucky Duck, can accommodate 12 additional guests, subject to availability. Inquire for more details if this is of interest to you. please note that this is a separate rental**
Our 4 bedroom home is directly on the ocean & provides families with a peaceful and private beach retreat with its stunning ocean views and soothing coastal colors and interior design. The Carolina Pearl has multiple seating areas throughout the home, which allows members of your group to spend time together & also have the option to relax on their own.

This elevated two-story home offers a large, PRIVATE pool, which can be heated for an additional fee* (inquire for rates). With ample lounging areas around the pool, you can relax to the sound of those ocean waves while your children play & you soak up that gorgeous South Carolina sun. If its the beach youre craving, its just steps away. Your PRIVATE beach access walkway takes you right onto the beach where tons of memories are just waiting to be made.

With amazing views from almost everywhere in the home, you are sure to feel that sweet coastal vibe. Whether you are lounging on the sundeck, laying in your bed, or eating a meal with your loved ones, the sights and sounds of the ocean waves will be right there. We offer a fully-stocked kitchen so you can cook all your meals if you so choose. We also provide all necessary linens and basic toiletries so you dont need to take up extra space in your luggage.

Youre toughest decision of the day will be whether to frolic on the beach with the kids, watch the waves come ashore from the sun deck, read a good book near the ocean, or lounge all day by the pool. This is the type of beach house that you will want your kids and family to experience and make memories in together every year.

**please note there is an additional fee to heat the pool, and this option is available March through October ONLY (We can not heat it November through February). You must contact the host in advance to enable this feature.

Policies and Rules

No pets

Pets are not permitted in or on the property at any time. Violation of this policy will result in eviction from the property & automatic forfeiture of security deposit and rental payment. *Note as to Service Animals: Under the current provisions of title II and III of the ADA, a service animal is defined by the ADA as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. The work or task a dog has been trained to provide must be directly related to the person’s disability. Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the ADA. If you will be bringing a bona fide service animal, kindly notify us in advance. Please note that a service dog may never be left alone in the listing (even if crated) and must be under the handler's direct control at all times. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) and other "assistance" animals which do not meet the strict definition of service animal under the ADA are not permitted.

Maximum occupancy for this property shall not exceed twelve (12 persons (including children at any time. If TENANT exceeds the maximum occupancy, TENANTS and any and all of their guests are subject to immediate removal and forfeiture of their security deposit and rental payment

House Rules

- NO PARTIES OR EVENTS; - Maximum occupancy at any time is 12 persons. This is firm. -Only registered guests are permitted on the property and/or in the unit. All persons must be a registered with Hosts prior to arrival by providing each guest's full name & age. - Maximum of 4 vehicles allowed in the driveway at any time. - You may not block the trash/recycling bins in any way. They must be free from obstruction at all times to enable pickup. - Only recycling material as listed may be placed in the blue bins (there is a list of acceptable items on top of the bin). - No smoking of ANY substance is permitted ANYWHERE on the property inside or out; Vaping is also prohibited. -Age of person booking must be at least 25 years and must be one of the guests. No one under 18 may stay unless accompanied by a parent/legal guardian; -Booking person must stay in the unit the ENTIRE duration. Third party bookings (booking for someone else) is NOT permitted; - Absolutely no pets of any type; - Glass objects are prohibited in the pool area. -You must wash off prior to entering the pool (if coming from the beach be aware of excess sand as it may cause damage to pool) - Children must be supervised at all times. - Quiet Hours city-wide are from 11pm - 7a.m. *** FAILURE TO ADHERE TO ANY OF THE ABOVE HOUSE RULES WILL RESULT IN A $350 FINE PER OCCURRENCE PLUS DAMAGES, IF APPLICABLE AND MAY RESULT IN IMMEDIATE EVICTION FROM THE PREMISES WITHOUT REFUND***No smokingNo petsNo parties or eventsCheck-in is anytime after 4:00 PM

Payment Policy

An advance payment equal to 50% of the balance is required to confirm reservations. The advance payment will be applied toward the property rental price. Please make payments through EFT (electronic funds transfer). Available options include:

b)Zelle: danielleandged@gmail.com

c) Cards (MC, Visa, AE, Disc) via Stripe. There is a 4% processing fee. If you prefer Credit Card. Use the Houfy website for payment.

50% of the balance must be received in order to secure reservation.

No dates will be held until and unless said payment is received.

Balance is due 60 days before checkin

Failure to remit balance due on or before the due date listed will result in the immediate cancellation of TENANT’s reservation and forfeiture of all advance payment(s)

Refundable Damage Deposit

A refundable security deposit of $1,000.00 is required. The security/damage deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met:

a. No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, smoking, or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

c. No excessive cleaning required. All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in the dumpster and soiled dishes are cleaned.

d. No linens/towels are lost, stolen, or damaged.

e. All checkout instructions are abided by and the home is left locked & fully secured.

f. The TENANT (or any of TENANT’S visitors) is not evicted by the Vacation Rental Manager (or representative of the Vacation Rental Manager), or the local law enforcement.

Cancellation Policy

In the event Tenant wishes to cancel this reservation, a (30) day notice in writing is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made less than sixty (60) days prior to the Check-In date will forfeit the full advance payment / reservation deposit. Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days prior to arrival are non- refundable (except for the security deposit/cleaning fee). Guests who check in but leave early are not entitled to any refunds except the security deposit and only in the event all conditions are met which would warrant return of said security deposit.

Notes

There is an ADDITIONAL CHARGE for heating the pool. This option may be requested when making your reservation. The pool can be heated March through October only (no heating option November through February due to outside temperatures).

Please also note that there are no elevators. The living area begins on the second story. You must climb stairs to enter the home.

**MINIMUM STAY DURING PEAK SEASON IS 7 DAYS SATURDAY TO SATURDAY**

The minimum age to book this property is 25, and the person booking must be one of the guests staying for the duration of the reservation.

***BUNK BEDS IN KIDS ROOM*** Be advised that our cleaners do not physically make the bunk beds, though all linens and bedding are provided.
