(1-2 Dog Maximum). I will then approve your pet(s) and request/collect the additional fees. Fees must be collected at the time of booking or after. Prior to or after your stay through a resolution center payment request or directly depending booking platform. Fees are non-refundable. Proof of rabies vaccination (upon request). All dogs must be crated when guest is not home. No exceptions. Cats are Not permitted. ?Clean after pet. We charge $25 Per pile of feces that we pick up from the yard after your stay. There are other neighborhood dogs and children, so we ask that all dogs be on a leash when outside of the house and on the property. Dogs at this unit require written approval prior to booking. If you have any allergies or health concerns, we kindly ask that you seek another unit more suitable. Guest agree to hold harmless the host and property owner of any liability as a result of a pet on the premises or use of the property and its contents. Mature non aggressive dogs under 50 lbs. No pets allowed on furnishings or beds. Any sign of excessive hair on the furnishings and bedding will be a violation of the house rules and may result in the loss of your security deposit as well as an additional cleaning fee of (up to $250). We ask that you kindly pickup behind your pet. So please feel free to use the broom and or other cleaning supplies on site to clean up after your pet. Breaching of these rules will result in immediate eviction and loss of security deposit.

This charming piece of history nestled on a hillside is a quaint 1919-built house. It isnt newly constructed, so we ask that you expect some things to be imperfect. For example the floors and steps may creek, you may have to give windows and doors an extra tug and their may be slightly uneven flooring areas due to setting. All of these things can be expected considering the age of the house. We like to call it character.
However, its important to note that this house may not be suitable for everyone. If you have health issues or physical limitations, please consider carefully before booking, as the house features steep steps both indoors and outdoors that can be challenging to navigate.
Additionally, for the safety of our guests, we do not recommend this house for families with children under the age of five. The age of the house, combined with its location near traffic, makes it a potentially risky environment for young ones.
While this house may not be adorned for sheer beauty, its simplicity in staging prioritizes comfort and ease of use. Its the ideal haven for those who appreciate a no-frills, rugged aesthetic that offers a practical and inviting space to call home during your stay.
Hardwood floors throughout. There are no TVs in the bedrooms and be cautious of the sloped ceiling in the bedrooms as well.
The driveway is on a hill, so if your vehicle is low to the ground, cut your wheels when pulling in and out of the driveway to avoid scraping spoiler due to the slope of the drive. Be cautions of traffic and pedestrians when backing out. There is room for two medium cars. If driveway is unacceptable or inadequate there is a parking lot across the street for guest use.
Due to the proximity of the house to downtown, there is a steady flow of traffic until about 6pm nightly during the week.
There is a beautiful side lot with a picnic table and BBQ grill for guest to utilize during their stay. Backyard is used for owners’ personal use at this time.
We do allow pets at this unit with written approval prior to booking. So if you have any allergies or concerns, we kindly ask that you seek another unit more suitable. $25 per day/per pet fee applies. 1 pet max.

Driveway is currently shared, so if you have any issues you can park across the street in the gravel lot where you see the grey fencing with the house keys sign on it. The driveway is very narrow and uneven in spots. Parking is off the street and there is room for two small cars. There is a gravel parking lot across the street from the house if you prefer park there. Driveway is on a hill and if your vehicle is low to the ground, cut your wheels when pulling in and out of the driveway to avoid scraping spoiler due to the slope of the drive. Be cautions of traffic and pedestrians when backing out. Use caution when backing out and check for pedestrians.

Getting around
Metro Bus stop three minutes from the house only one block away. Close to highway Route 8 North and South. Uber and Lyft available.
Accessing your cozy retreat is an adventure in itself, as the steep steps and narrow driveway can be a bit challenging due to it's tight squeeze. This driveway can comfortably fit two cars at most, and sits snug between the houses. There is an additional parking lot across the street that guest can use if the driveway in not sufficient.

Unfortunately we are unable to rebook days at such short notice, so we do not issue refunds for early check outs or cancelations.
For Early Check In or Late Check Out there is a $25 Fee (No guarantee we can accommodate the request, but we will do our best to do so).

**1. Damage Deposit Collection:**
A damage deposit of $150.00 will be collected through Zelle upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is a security measure to cover any potential damages to the property during your stay.
**2. Damage Protection Policy:**
By agreeing to this Agreement, you acknowledge and agree to the damage protection policy in place for the property. This policy covers accidental damages caused by you or your group during your stay.
**3. Submission of Valid Credentials:**
As part of the damage deposit process, you are required to submit valid credentials in the name of the registered guest. This could include a copy of your government-issued ID or passport. These credentials will be used to verify your identity and ensure a smooth refund process.
**4. Refund of Damage Deposit:**
If no damages are reported and the property is in the same condition as when you arrived, the damage deposit will be refunded to you within 7-10 business days after your check-out date. The refund will be processed through the same Zelle account used for the initial deposit.
**5. Timely Deposit Submission:**
In order to secure your booking, the damage deposit must be received within 48 hours of submitting your booking request. Failure to provide the deposit within this timeframe may result in the cancellation of your booking.
**6. Cancellation Policy:**
If the damage deposit is not received within 48 hours of the booking request, your reservation may be canceled without further notice.

Cancellation Policy
Strict Cancellation Policy:
To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in
If guest cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, we’ll be paid 50% for all nights booked. If guest cancel after that, we keep your entire payout for all nights booked, minus the cleaning fee if you cancel before check-in
