37 km north of Kuusamo, Ruka 9 km, Lake Alakitkajärvi 10 m, sandy bottom beach, pier, rowing boat and canoe.
Log cottage, 300 m², built in 1985, renovated 2013 and 2018.
Cottage has 7 bedrooms, all with 2 beds. Livingroom, kitchen, electric sauna. Wi-Fi available in the main cottage.
In the main building maximum number of persons is 14. In case you will be more, please book additionally sleeping cabins (additional fee). On the yard area there are 3 log-built, warm sleeping cabins; two so called Aurora cabins (4 persons/cabin) are available all year round and one sleeping cabin (for 2 persons) is available only for summer use June-August. incl. final cleaning. Distance from the main building to the Aurora cabins is approximately 150 m and for summer cabin approximately 200 m. Spacious cottage situated on Sompsanniemi cape on Lake Alakitkajärvi.
Hot tub which can be used throughout the year. Use of hot tub is included in the price (client fills up, heats and cleans the tub). For additional fee its possible to have caretaker to take care of filling and heating. During winter possibility for ice dipping (winter swimming) in the lake.
Full-size pool table, ski maintenance room (stand for ski waxing). Tableware for 24 persons. Two showers in bathroom.
Other distances: Oulanka National Park / Pieni Karhunkierros Trail 7 km, Riisitunturi Fell 28 km.
3 wholes mini golf course and 4 fisbeegolf baskets on the yard. Nearby good terrains for berry picking.
Hunting possibility for example in the area of Kuusamon Yhteismetsä (licenses are not included in the accommodation price, please check contact information from ).

As in all other rental properties, linen must be used on all beds (both in the cottage and in the sleeping cabins). If, during the final cleaning, the beds/bedding are found to be dirty due to the bed linen not being used, 50 euros/piece will be charged for each soiled bed.
Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also in weekend bookings).

For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival only credit cards are accepted.
A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.
The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.
What happens to my breakage deposit?
The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.
