2 Story Gambrel with 3 decks for you to enjoy all the nature of Big Bear. Thoughtfully designed to give guests a special Big Bear experience. DVD players throughout with a great selection of family-friendly movies as well on the Smart TV (Chromecast or AirPlay from your accounts on Netflix, Disney+, Hulu, Amazon Prime, YouTube and much more). Enjoy the wood burning fireplace while sipping your favorite beverage or enjoy a board game with the family.

In the bedrooms you will find a wall heater, Bluetooth light and sound machine, portable fan, alarm clock with USB port, a Smart TV, mirror, luggage rack, dresser and a closet with hangers for storage.

Kid friendly, with games and activities to keep them busy. Device charging station, Bluetooth speaker, and Fast Spectrum WI-FI, which is the most reliable on the mountain. Free parking for 2 vehicles ( you may park across the street next to the fence, just pull up all the way out of the street).

New 4 burner propane BBQ, outdoor dining area with patio umbrella, cute yard and overhead patio lights for late night ambiance, 3 decks with seating to enjoy the neighborhood from any view.


THINGS TO NOTE-This is a quiet neighborhood, and the property is no more than 5 miles to the village, ski slopes, and lake. Enjoy hiking with just a 3 block walk to the national forest trails. There is a corner market 2 blocks away as well. Its super convenient!

Big Bear experiences power outages more than other areas due to our mountain location. We do not refund for power disruptions during your stay. We will do our best to alert you with any info we get from the providers whenever possible.

There will be many stairs to climb during your reservation.

Our housekeeper for Super Fantastic Cabin has severe pet dander allergies, and for that reason, we are not pet friendly. Sorry, we are not pet friendly and do not have a safe area for pets to be outside. If you are traveling with a pet, please check out our pet friendly cabin Grinnin Bear It.

A confirmation to your acknowledgement of the rules via an e-signed guest agreement, a copy of a government-issued photo ID and a security deposit pre-authorization are required within 24 hours or when booking a last minute same day reservation the above is required within 1 hour.

Guests will have access to the entire vacation home with the exception of some locked owners closet and to a locked storage area beneath the home.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚
Please plan accordingly, two cars are permitted to be parked in the driveway; there is no street parking. The driveway is on an incline but is paved. Our driveway is very steep. Small cars with low clearance may have trouble parking. There is a flat area across the street that guests are welcome to use if available, but may be inaccessible during heavy snowfall.

𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗗𝗢𝗢𝗥 𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗦
Please note...there are cameras located at the driveway and entrances of the property. These are solely on the exterior of the property. Footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy and other property policies. It in no way infringes upon the expectation of privacy in these public areas. To disable or obscure the cameras is prohibited and may result in the immediate removal of guest(s) and forfeiture of all amounts paid.

𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗥𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗟
Snow removal services are supposed to arrive within 24 hours of any snowfall more than 4+ inches, to clear the driveway and a pathway to the main entrance. Snow removal companies cannot guarantee a specific time the property will be serviced. Therefore, guests may have to shovel a spot to park if they arrive before the snow removal company or if it snows during their stay. There have been times in larger storms (2ft+ of snowfall) when snow removal can take longer. It doesn’t happen often, and our other guests have always been able to make it work. Just know that in those cases we are doing everything we can to get someone out there.

𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 𝗪𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥
Please be aware that weather conditions can change rapidly especially during winter months. We are unable to honor last-minute cancellations due to weather/road conditions. Chains or 4WD/AWD vehicle requirements are often in effect in order to enter Big Bear Valley. Guests booking a stay in the winter should be prepared for the possibility of tire chains being necessary to travel to Big Bear. This requirement is enforced by city officials and law enforcement. We recommend arriving before dark; guests arriving late during the winter months may encounter icy roads and long delays. Mountain Transit operates Weekend Trolley service providing transportation between local restaurants, hotels, ski resorts, and shopping venues throughout the City of Big Bear Lake.

Mountain Transit provides Fixed Route, Off-the-Mountain (OTM), and Dial-a-Ride service throughout the rural San Bernardino Mountain communities of Big Bear Valley, Crestline, Lake Arrowhead, Running Springs and Route 5 OTM even connects our mountain communities to the Inland Empire.

If you are looking to go up the mountain or down the mountain catch Route 5 Off the Mountain (OTM). Route 5 OTM connects Big Bear to Running Springs and San Bernardino making connections with Omnitrans, Metrolink, Greyhound, and other various stops.

The home does not have central air-conditioning, but rather during the warmer summer months the cabin includes a large portable floor AC unit. Central AC is not typical for mountain cabins. Powerful oscillating circulator fans are also provided in all rooms.
