Amazing South Florida Tropical Escape in the heart of Fort Lauderdale. Tastefully decorated with high-end furnishings, this vacation home combines hotel luxury with charm and coziness that is difficult to find anywhere else. The lush and private backyard has an abundance of sun, ample shade, and an inviting heated pool with tranquil waterfall to satisfy all of your relaxation needs.
Our beloved 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home has plenty of room to spread out and relax with family and friends.
The living room has a large 55 flat-screen TV and Bose surround sound. The TV is mounted over a remote-controlled fireplace to make operation a breeze and add to the ambiance. The comfortable couch and sitting area provide plenty of room to relax and watch TV or to visit with family and friends. The couch can also convert to a queen-sized foam mattress bed to sleep two more people.
The upgraded kitchen has all stainless steel appliances, a range hood, and all of the cooking utensils required by even the most demanding cooks. The over-sized island gives plenty of counter space and has bar stools for three. The contemporary kitchen table can seat up to eight people.
The master suite includes a large bedroom with attached over-sized master bath retreat. The bedroom has a king-sized bed, its own flat-screen TV, and multiple views of the pool and backyard, including a door to the backyard. The bath has a massive walk-in shower with high-end Danze shower system, including a handheld shower wand and four body jets. If thats not enough, there is also a jetted tub with handheld wand as well overlooking the pool and hammock areas. There is Bluetooth audio in the bath so you can customize your bath time experience. We also have a small dedicated office workspace in the master suite.
The two guest bedrooms are spacious and equipped with their own flat-screen TVs. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and dimmable lighting for maximum comfort, and all beds include brand-new, state-of-the-art foam mattresses. The guest bath also features an LED Bluetooth mirror so that you never have to be without your favorite tunes!
Saving the best for last - a backyard you wont want to leave! Start with the refreshing blue pool with a waterfall and two water jets for the kids. The pool is even heated during the winter months to keep it comfortable and ready to use all year round! All of this is surrounded by lush tropical landscaping and plenty of room to catch some sun in the chaise lounges. Add in the shade and comfort of the large pergola with seating for six to escape the heat and enjoy the endless breeze of the ceiling fans. Finish it off with an outdoor TV, more Bluetooth music, and a BBQ gas grill to make it the perfect tropical escape!
While our home will very comfortably sleep 8 people, the City of Fort Lauderdale has an ordinance that legally limits all three bedroom vacation rentals in the city to a maximum of 6 adults. It does allow up to 4 children (under 13 years old) as additional guests. Unfortunately this is not something that we can control or change. We are happy to share more details upon request. Please contact us with any questions.
Please note that we ask all guests to sign a renter agreement and to provide government-issued proof of identity prior to staying in our vacation home. We will send you an email from Roesle Ventures shortly after we receive your request on the booking platform of your choice. Once you have electronically signed the agreement, your booking will be confirmed.

Owner
Hi! We love to travel. We enjoy learning about the culture and experiencing the food in different cities. I feel like we've traveled so much, yet barely even started to scratch the surface. My goal is for us both to visit all seven continents. We still have two more to go, but we're already planning both of them.
As the owners of this beautiful vacation home, we want all of our prospective guests to know that we proudly handle 100% of the property management personally. We have chosen this approach because it is important to us that all of our guests are able to enjoy their vacations there just as much as we do. We want to be aware personally of every question and issue so that we can respond quickly, as well as improve the overall experience for future guests.
Also, we are not local residents, but we want to give back to this great community. At the start of each year, we will choose a different local charity benefiting children, pets, wildlife, community projects, etc. Then, at the end of that year, we will donate a portion of the profits from this vacation rental for that year. For 2019 and 2020, we donated to Boys & Girls Clubs of Broward County. For 2021 and 2022, we donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Broward County, and we are happy to say that we will donate to them again at the end of 2023.

House Rules
Here are some tips to help you enjoy the many amenities around the house:
CLIMATE CONTROLFor your convenience, a Nest Thermostat is installed in the hallway. Simply turn the dial clockwise to increase the temperature (max 84 degrees) and counter-clockwise to decrease the temperature (min 70 degrees) in the home. It will display the target temperature as you turn the dial.
MAINTENANCE PEOPLEPlease be aware that there are a few yard/pool maintenance people that may stop by the house while you are staying there. Other than being there briefly, they should not bother you. They should NEVER need access inside of the house unless we have explicitly confirmed it with you beforehand.
Pool (Avaclear Pools): Typically every Thursday. Will access the backyard through the gate.
Yard (Montes Landscaping): Approximately every other week. Day of the week may vary. Will access the backyard through the gate.
Trash (Cabo Cleaning): If needed, they will take the trash bins from under the carport to the street Wed evening or early Thurs morning and return them to under the carport Thursday evening.
USING THE POOL
Use pool at your own risk. We are not responsible for accidents or injuries.
No glass or sharp objects are allowed outside in the pool area.
Be considerate of our neighbors - no yelling or loud noises.
No diving into shallow areas of pool. No running.
Children are not allowed without adult supervision.
Please double-check that the pool alarms on the doors and windows are working properly if you do have small children staying at the house.
The pool waterfall should run throughout most of the day, and the pool light will be on in the evening. If you would like either on when they are not, please message/text us, and we can turn them on remotely. Please do NOT touch any of the pool equipment in the backyard as you could cause severe damage.Plastic plates, glasses, and serving dishes are available in the kitchen for outside dining. There are two pool towels available for your convenience. Please do not remove these from the house.
TV AND REMOTE CONTROLSAll of the TCL TVs in the house are Roku streaming equipped. They are very straightforward and easy to use. Instead of needing a cable box, the Comcast Xfinity cable channels are streamed over the internet. Once the TV is on, simply choose the Xfinity channel/app on the Roku Home menu to open the cable channels.Roku also offers 100's of other streaming channels, such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Vudu, and so many more. If you have accounts with any of these services, please feel free to sign in and use them. Please do not forget to log out of your accounts before you leave, so that future guests cannot access your accounts. If you are not familiar with Roku devices and would like a very short introduction, there is an “Intro Video” on the Roku Home page that gives a brief two minute overview of the features.
PLAYING MUSIC IN THE MASTER BATHROOMThere is a stereo receiver in the media chest in the master bedroom that controls the audio playing over the speakers in the master bathroom. Feel free to connect any audio source you prefer. The receiver does support Bluetooth. With the receiver on, switch to the Bluetooth input and connect your Bluetooth audio source to “NS-STR514”.
PLAYING MUSIC IN THE GUEST BATHROOMThe LED mirror in the guest bathroom includes Bluetooth speakers. To pair, press and hold the Bluetooth touch button for 4 seconds, a chime will indicate that the Bluetooth is activated and the touch button will change color to white. To pair your device for the first time, turn on the device's Bluetooth connection and look for the mirror, which will be labeled “HW MIRROR” and connect to it. Speakers can be muted during play by tapping the Bluetooth touch button and can be unmuted by tapping the button again.
TRASHThere is a trash can and a recycle bin in the cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink. City trash cans and recycle bins are located under the carport. Trash will be taken out after check-out by the cleaning service. Should you need to empty the trash bins during your stay, the city picks up trash only on Mondays and picks up trash, recycling and yard waste on Thursdays. Please place the trash bins at the edge of the driveway no later than 6 a.m. and remove after 7 p.m. on the designated days.
FIREPLACEThe living room features a stone mantel with a built-in fireplace. In addition to using the remote control, there are buttons on the top right of the fireplace. Simply press the power button to turn the fireplace on or off. In normal operation mode, the fireplace does not actually generate any heat. Should you want it to heat the room, you can easily turn the heat on using the remote as well.
PULL-OUT SOFAA pull-out queen memory foam bed is available in the sofa. Remove all couch cushions and pillows. Look for handle on bed frame and pull up and towards you to unfold. Sheets are on the mattress and extra pillows are located in the bedroom closets.
USING THE JETTED TUB IN THE MASTER BATHROOMPlease be sure to fill the tub with water above the top of all of the jets as well as the intake cover below the faucets. The white button to the left of the tub turns on the tub jets. NEVER RUN THE JETS WITHOUT FIRST FILLING THE TUB WITH WATER AS IT IT WILL BURN OUT THE PUMP MOTOR. Be sure to turn off the jets prior to emptying the water. It should be noted that Florida tap water, and in particular the City of Fort Lauderdale, is well known to have a slight yellowish color. This discoloration is due to sediment and minerals from the rivers and lake beds that provide the city’s tap water. Rest assured that the water is completely safe and is tested by the city every couple of months to ensure it meets FDA requirements for human use and consumption. We have also had the water tested by Culligan in November 2018 who confirmed that the water in the house is completely safe and is typical for the area.
USING THE TV IN THE PATIO AREASimply uncover the TV and use the buttons on the side to control the power and volume. The TV has a Chromecast that will allow you to cast music and videos to the TV from your phone. Your phone must support casting to Google Chromecast.
PLAYING MUSIC IN THE PATIO AREAThe Onkyo receiver in the living room also controls the audio played over the speakers by the patio. The input source and volume are controlled via ZONE 2. Feel free to connect any audio source you prefer. The receiver does support Bluetooth. With the receiver on, switch to the Bluetooth input and connect your Bluetooth audio source to “Onkyo TX-NR777 EB2689”.To play music in the patio area (ZONE 2), it is easiest to set the input and volume on the main receiver itself. On the main unit, after pressing the “ZONE 2” button, within 8 seconds press the input selector button to select the input to be played on the patio. To play the same source in the main room and separate room, press the “ZONE 2” button on the main unit twice. To control the volume on the main unit, press the “ZONE 2” button and adjust with the MASTER VOLUME control within 8 seconds.
GAS GRILLA propane gas grill is provided for your cooking needs. Please use caution as propane gas is extremely flammable. Utensils are located in the kitchen to the right of the stove. Please clean the grill after each use for the next visitor. When finished, PLEASE BE SURE TO TURN THE GAS OFF AT THE PROPANE TANK TO PREVENT ANY DANGEROUS LEAKS.
LAUNDRYDetergent pods and a laundry basket are provided for your convenience. The Maytag washer instruction manual is located above the washer on the shelf. Only use HE detergent. Clean the lint screen before using the dryer.
MICROWAVEPlease note that the yellow plastic plates intended for use on the patio are not microwave-safe. No aluminum or any type of metal in the microwave. Please be mindful of paper plates with metal trim.
DAMAGE AND BREAKAGEAccidents happen. Please report any damages or breakages to the host in a timely manner so that we can repair the situation as soon as possible. Any associated costs will come out of the security deposit. To avoid more extensive damage, please do not move furniture.
EMERGENCY INFOFire extinguishers are located under the kitchen sink and a first aid kit is in the reach in closet.
