Cedar Creek Riding Stables is an 18 minute drive to A Touch of Luxury Cabin in Lake Lure/Mill Spring. They offer pony rides, guided horse trail rides, gem mining, and free, catch and release fishing in their pond. There is no requirement to purchase a temporary fishing license when you fish in their pond. Bring a cooler, and you can pack a lunch to eat at their picnic tables.
