A unique property name helps travelers easily search for your property online. And memorable names help guests recommend your property to friends and family. Follow these helpful tips:
- Choose a unique property name. A name like "Cozy, quaint cottage 5 minutes to the beach" isn't going to be memorable. Instead, choose something like "Red Raven House."
- Use the same property name across all social media sites. If I were to type your unique property name into Facebook, would I find your Facebook Business Page? What about Instagram and Pinterest?
- Use the property name consistently across all listing platforms. Be sure to reference it multiple times within the listing description.
- Use the same property cover photo across the web. Travelers want to quickly be able to recognize your property.

We included the location into our property name; MiCasa-Benissa, MiDominio-Moraira and Penthouse-Moraira. We choose MiCasa because it was our first property in Spain, MiDominio, as it felt the same, and penthouse for the obvious reason.

We first named our VR according to the most recognizable and popular region used by the public in the tri-state area. Next, we included a unique/popular "type" of structure. Then lastly, we chose an adjective that described the rental well. Hence, "Pocono Log Home Getaway."

We have loons on our lake so we named ours: “Loon Lodge on Enterprise Lake." We had a lot of bear decor and I wanted "bear" in the name. But my husband was concerned travelers may get scared if they thought there were bears. So we went with loons instead.

We named our property Coastal Charm. It was totally emotional.. we bought an estate sale that needed TLC. When we were almost finished I said: "what a charm ... a coastal charm." I fell in love with the place.

Golden Gate Creek runs through our property. We are in the California Gold Country, so... Gold Creek Cabin. Not easy to come up with a catchy name!

Our name is not ideal from a SEO point of view but it does stand out. Tagomago is an island north of Ibiza and our house feels like an island because of its situation on the edge of the village. That's the domain name but the title is Lecrín Valley holiday villa Granada Spain.

Fox View Cottage—because our place has a killer view of Fox Mountain.

Our Villa Maestrali was named after the Maestrali wind, there's always a cool breeze here. I added the location Skiathos (Greek island) to the name for search purposes: "Skiathos Villa Maestrali"

Description of what it is (cottage) in my state (Vermont) and location in the state (Lake Amherst) and ta da...Vermont Cottage Lake Amherst. Easy to find by Googling "Lake Rental in Vermont" ... "Cabin Rental Vermont" Google tells me top search words used that lead people to me. I then use those words in the listing.
