This 5-star vacation rental offers accommodation for up to 5 guests, consisting of 3 bedrooms, a bright and generous living area with open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and balcony with fantastic views. The apartment is located between the center of Amden and the smaller hamlet of Arvenbüel. By car or local bus, you can reach the family-friendly Amden-Arvenbüel ski resort with ski school, outdoor ice rink and beautiful snowshoe and winter hiking routes. In summer, the hiking trails start right at your doorstep and allow you to hike throughout the diverse natural surroundings of Amden. Trips to other destinations around the region are also possible thanks to the ease of access. The village center of Amden with chairlift, shops, restaurants and indoor pool is about a mile away, while the Amden/Soldanella bus stop is located directly of your vacation home. A space in our garage (No 8) and an outdoor parking space are both available. Amden was once called Amoenus mons, means lovely mountain. That name applies just as well to this day. Beautifully situated above Lake Walensee, the village offers unforgettable panoramas of the Alps and the lake. Beautiful nature is front and center here. Amden is located in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen and is home to about 1800 people. Due to its unique location between the temperate shores of the Walensee and the wild mountain peaks, Amden offers a wealth of recreational opportunities. For example, you wont want to miss out on a revitalizing dip in the refreshing Walensee on a summers evening. Amden is conveniently located. The centers of Zurich, Chur and Lucerne are all within less than an hours drive. And, in winter, the small but beautiful ski resort of Amden impresses with its well-known Swiss ski school, mostly easy slopes, cross-country trails and numerous winter hiking trails. Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.
The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.
What happens to my breakage deposit?
The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.
