More information by the provider: The lovely Chalet Speer is located by a little stream in a quiet area near the center of Amden and offers space for a total of 4 people. The 1-bedroom apartment with comfortable furnishings is on the ground floor of the house. The house is a really good starting point for hikes and excursions in the region. The village center featuring shops including Volg and Maxi Spar Molkerei for groceries, the Mattstock chairlift, an indoor pool and various restaurants are all within walking distance. Skiing isnt far away, either: The Arvenbüel family ski resort and its ski school can be reached by bus or car in a matter of minutes. The Mattstock ski resort, small but excellent, can even be reached on foot in a few minutes. The next bus stop (Amden, Brugg) is 450 m from the house. An outdoor parking space in front of the chalet is available free of charge. The idyllic vacation area of Amden Weesen above the emerald-blue Walensee and the exceptional mountain scenery have a lot to offer. Activities range from beaches, water sports, boat trips on the Walensee, varied hikes in summer and fall and the impressive Seerenbach Falls in spring to snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and skiing at the little family ski resort of Amden in winter. Our tip: take a hike to the Schafbett overlook with a breathtaking view of Lake Walen and the Glarus Alps. Several hiking trails lead to the cozy picnic spot at the overlook. Amden has a really convenient location. The region of Lake Zurich featuring the medieval town of Rapperswil as well as Zurich, Glarus and Chur can all be reached by car in less than an hour. Tram Rehalp 47.3 km, bus stop Brugg 0.2 km, railway station Mühlehorn 4.5 km, ferry Betlis 1.9 km.

The apartment consists of a combined living and sleeping area, a separate bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a beautiful terrace with seating in the garden. The bedroom is furnished with a double bed (180x200 cm) and a wardrobe. The bathroom featuring a shower, toilet and sink is next to the sleeping and living area. The combined living and sleeping area features a pull-out bed with two single mattresses (2x90x200 cm), a dining table with a corner bench and chairs; a television (satellite) is available as well. In the living room there is a raclette oven and a fondue set. The kitchen is in a separate room and is equipped with an oven, stove, refrigerator with freezer compartment and a coffee machine (Nespresso). The sunny terrace with seating and a beautiful garden makes you want to stick around and enjoy the view from there. A highchair or baby crib can be provided upon request. No pets are allowed. Smoking is allowed as long as it is done outdoors. Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the apartment.

Payment Policy
There are two ways to pay for your booking:

For bookings within 14 days prior to arrival only credit cards are accepted.

A down payment of 20% of the total rental cost of the reserved rental property is payable within 5 days of the booking date. The remaining balance must be paid to Interhome no later than 28 days before the start of the rental period. If you book your holiday house or apartment less then 43 days prior to your arrival date, you will have to pay the total rental cost immediately.

Refundable Damage Deposit
The key holder is entitled to ask for a deposit. You will find the deposit amount in the cost overview on the object detail page of the holiday house or the apartment as well as on your booking confirmation.

The deposit can be paid by credit card or cash (as mentioned on your booking confirmation). It is necessary to pay the deposit otherwise you will not receive your key. Please note that at some locations the only option is cash payment.

What happens to my breakage deposit?

The deposit is a security retainer and will be refunded upon proper return of the rental property. The deposit will either be refunded to your bank account or received directly from the keyholder if you paid in cash. For a refund of the deposit to your bank account, always leave your IBAN- and BIC-code with the keyholder.

Cancellation Policy
You can cancel your booking by phone, post or eMail. Your cancellation comes into effect on the date of receipt of your notification.

If you withdraw from the contract, we will invoice you the following cancellation charges:

B) 42 to 29 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental
C) 28 to 2 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the rental
